Are you real estate agents?

No. We are a specialist property transaction company that buys and sells houses directly, or assists in property sales through joint venture agreements. Agents provide a service to sellers to facilitate the sale of the property to a third party, from which they derive a commission.

Do I have to pay you any commission or fees for you to buy my property?

No.

Do I have to pay you any fees to buy your property?

You will pay an application fee of $1200, which will be refunded if we choose not to proceed with you. If you change your mind, the application fee will be forfeited.

What is vendor finance?

Vendor finance or seller finance involves the property vendor provisioning the finance for the transaction of a property sale. This may take the form of what are known as instalment contracts or instalment finance, rent to own or rent to buy finance, or vendor deposit finance arrangements all of which may be applied to enable the sale of a property. Such transactions may occur without the need for any bank lending or reduced bank lending. Vendor finance terms have been used in Australia since at least the 1880's, and has been most popular when bank finance has been difficult to access. As a buyer of  one of Houses to Go's Melbourne homes for sale, can I refinance to a bank?

Yes, in fact we encourage you to do so as soon as you are able to qualify for a bank loan.

What sorts of properties do you buy? Do you only buy Melbourne homes for sale ?

We will buy any residential property, including houses, townhouses and apartments. While we are based in Melbourne and buy Melbourne homes for sale, we do in fact cover all of Victoria.

What if my property is listed exclusively with an agent?

We will work with the agent to purchase your property.

We will then inspect your property and discuss the options available to us to purchase the property, or to assist in the sale of the property on terms acceptable to all. If you are happy to proceed, we will prepare the necessary paperwork to enable the sale of your property in the shortest time possible.

Buyers

Go the the Contact Us page, and contact us as requested. We will ask for certain information to assess your suitability for buying a property that we have available. We will ask for similar information that a bank would ask for, but we are a lot more flexible and understanding of your circumstances! If you are considered a suitable applicant, we will ask you to put some details into an application form and to meet with us to inspect the property. If you are happy to proceed, we will prepare the required paperwork that will enable you to move into your new home as soon as possible.
